My name is Bobby Whetsel, and I am a dedicated husband and father of three. I began my public service career in 2008 as a certified EMT with Polk County EMS. In 2011, I transitioned into FIRE/EMS and earned my paramedic certification. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience across various settings, including private transport, critical care, and both rural and metropolitan environments.
In addition to my fieldwork, I have served for many years as an EMS instructor, with a primary focus on paramedicine, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). I find great fulfillment in teaching and take pride in helping develop the next generation of emergency medical professionals.
I hold an Associate of Applied Science degree in Emergency Medicine. Outside of work, I value spending quality time outdoors with my family, enjoying the balance that a strong personal life brings to my professional commitments.
